Tapped by Chef & Founder Victor Albisu, Michael Pereira assumed the role of Chief Executive Officer of the ultra–chef-driven brand Taco Bamba in January 2026.
Michael brings over 30 years of restaurant experience, having held key leadership roles at The Cheesecake Factory; Snooze, an A.M. Eatery; and Velvet Taco. He is a results-driven restaurant executive with a proven track record of building a people-first culture, driving innovation, and delivering operational excellence at scale. Michael takes a disciplined approach to decision-making, always looking through the lenses of brand, team, and guests. He maintains a keen focus on hospitality, people development, sales growth, process-driven consistency, margin improvement, and high-level unit performance.
